No, absolutely not. The first consultation is entirely non-binding and is focused on getting acquainted, building trust, and offering advice.
During this appointment, we take ample time to discuss your wishes, expectations, and the reason for a possible hairpiece. I explain the technical possibilities, walk you through the entire process step by step, and introduce you to various hair samples, types of Swiss lace, and other materials. This gives you a clear picture of the quality, the possibilities, and the working method.
Only once you have all the information do you decide, at your own pace, whether you want to proceed. There is no obligation whatsoever to make an immediate decision.
Once you decide to embark on the process together, we schedule a second appointment. During this session, I take precise measurements and create a personal wrap (head mold), so that your hairpiece can be crafted entirely to measure and with the utmost precision.
How long does a film wig last? And what about a wig for everyday use?
The lifespan of a wig depends on the purpose for which it is made, the intensity of use, and how it is maintained.
A film wig is made with extremely fine Swiss lace of 17 or 20 denier at the hairline. This particularly thin lace ensures an invisible, extremely natural finish on camera, but also requires careful handling. With correct use and professional maintenance, a film wig performs optimally for an average of 20 to 25 shooting days.
A wig for everyday use, for example for medical reasons, is built on a sturdier and more durable base. For this, I generally use 40 denier Swiss lace, making the hairpiece more resistant to daily wear. Depending on lifestyle, intensity of use, and proper care, the average lifespan is 2 to 3 years.

How does delivery work for national and international productions, and for private clients?
Personal guidance is central to my approach. To guarantee a perfectly fitting and natural result, I always take the measurements myself and personally create the wrap (head mold) for every new actor, actress, or client. This forms the basis for a hairpiece crafted to measure down to the smallest detail.
For national and international film productions, I am happy to travel to wherever the actor or actress is located. The production covers the travel and accommodation costs. I am also always personally present on set for the final fitting. This allows me to finish the hairpiece down to the smallest detail and ensure a perfect fit before filming begins.
Private clients from Belgium are warmly welcomed at my studio in Antwerp. After an initial, no-obligation introductory conversation, measurements are taken and the wrap is made. Once the hairpiece is ready, I invite you back for a technical fitting and the final delivery. This ensures that your hairpiece not only fits perfectly but also fully meets your expectations in terms of comfort, look, and finish.
